The same estimate as PriceFox’s internet speed guide: a planning figure, not a measurement. Suggesting the fastest plan for the fullest households is PriceFox’s judgment. Plan names and speeds from Rogers’ Ontario offers page, read October 5, 2026. Speeds are maximums and depend on your address and equipment.

What you get with every Rogers internet plan

The four plans differ in speed. The rest is the same.

Unlimited data

On every plan, under Rogers’ acceptable use policy.

Wi-Fi 6 modem and app

With one app to manage it, and Advanced Security you can turn on.

Wi-Fi 7 costs extra

It comes with Rogers Xfinity Pro, a paid add-on that also adds extenders and a backup connection.

How Rogers prices its internet plans

The advertised price is a term price. Rogers takes a monthly credit off its regular price for 24 months, and the regular price applies from month 25.

↑Your 24-month term priceTerm endsRegular priceStart12 months24 monthsAfterTime on your plan
How a term price works. An illustration, not real prices.
  1. First: automatic payments are assumed

Advertised prices include a monthly discount for automatic payments. It ends if you cancel them.

  2. Months 1 to 24: your price is locked

Leaving before the term ends costs a fee for each month left, up to a cap.

  3. Month 25: the regular price applies

The credit ends. That regular price can be higher than the one advertised when you signed.

No term? You pay more

The term price isn’t available month to month, and Rogers can raise a month-to-month price at any time.

Rogers 5G Home Internet: for homes no line reaches

Rogers also sells internet over its mobile network. It’s a fallback for addresses without a wired connection, not a match for the plans above.

Three plans, by data

Essentials has 200 GB a month at full speed, Popular has 600 GB and Ultimate is unlimited. Past the limit, speed drops to 10 Mbps.

Video is capped

Each stream is held to about 720p, or about 1080p on Ultimate, whatever the plan’s speed. That’s Rogers’ own fine print.

Month to month

No term, so the price can change. Top speeds run from 100 to 500 Mbps, and Rogers may limit sign-ups in an area.

Where you can get Rogers internet

Rogers runs the main cable network in much of Ontario. Whether you can get it, and on what connection, depends on your address.

  1. Check your address

Enter your address on Rogers’ site. Availability changes from street to street and building to building.

  2. Note the speeds and the connection

Rogers shows download and upload for each plan. Ask whether your address is fibre to the home or fibre to the neighbourhood, because installation differs.

  3. Compare the price after month 24

Write down the term price and the regular price, plus any installation fee, before you compare with another provider.

How Rogers compares with other Ontario internet providers

Providers differ most in the network at your address and the contract they ask for.

Common questions about Rogers internet plans

What internet plans does Rogers offer in Ontario?›

Four Rogers Xfinity Internet plans: Starter 150, Popular 500, Premier 1.5G and Premier 2G. All have unlimited data. Rogers also sells 5G Home Internet over its mobile network.

How much does Rogers internet cost?›

The plan cards at the top of this page show Rogers’ current advertised price for each plan, on a 24-month term with automatic payments, before tax. PriceFox keeps them in step with its pricing records. What you pay depends on your address and the offer you took.

Does Rogers have internet promotions or deals?›

Rogers’ advertised prices are promotions: a monthly credit that lasts 24 months, sometimes with a limited-time bill credit for ordering online. The offers on its internet packages change often. The plan cards on this page show the current advertised price for each plan.

Is Rogers Ignite internet now Rogers Xfinity?›

Yes. Rogers renamed its Ignite services Rogers Xfinity: Ignite TV is now Rogers Xfinity TV, and the Ignite HomeConnect app is now the Rogers Xfinity app. Older plans and bills may still carry the Ignite name.

Does Rogers internet have a contract?›

The advertised prices are for a 24-month term. Your price is locked for those 24 months, and leaving early costs a fee for each month left, up to a cap. Rogers also sells month-to-month plans, which cost more.

What happens to my Rogers price after 24 months?›

The monthly credit ends and Rogers’ regular price applies from month 25, unless you agree to a new offer. That regular price is well above the advertised term price, which is why bills jump at that point.

Does Rogers charge for installation?›

Professional installation has a one-time fee. Rogers requires it at fibre-to-the-home addresses and makes it optional at fibre-to-the-neighbourhood ones, where you can set up the equipment yourself. Rogers says it waives the shipping fee on online orders.

Is Rogers internet unlimited?›

Yes. All four Rogers Xfinity Internet plans have unlimited data, under Rogers’ acceptable use policy. Two of the three 5G Home Internet plans slow down after a monthly data amount.

Can I get Rogers internet in a rural area?›
