PriceFox uses the information you provide to prepare your savings preview, generate your Deal Map, support paid products you choose, manage uploads and support, process payment status, verify savings outcomes if applicable, and communicate with you about your request.
How PriceFox uses your information
PriceFox uses your details to check your bill, compare relevant offers, prepare your savings review, and support paid services you choose. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share uploaded bills with internet providers to pitch you plans.
This Privacy Policy is effective April 27, 2026. It explains how PriceFox handles information for the savings preview, Deal Map, Full Deal Map, PriceFox Action Plan, PriceFox Pro Review, uploaded review documents, payment status, savings verification, support, and controlled pilots.
PriceFox may collect your name, email address, phone number if provided, province, address or service area, current provider, internet plan details, current price and speed, service preferences, bundle or TV details, and information you enter into PriceFox forms.
PriceFox may collect uploaded bills, screenshots, provider quotes, order confirmations, provider emails, proof documents, support messages, case notes, and Action Plan or Pro Review status if you choose to provide them.
PriceFox may also collect payment status, Stripe checkout or payment identifiers, refund status, success-fee status, timestamps, device/browser or operational details, and other records needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service. PriceFox does not store full payment card numbers directly.
PriceFox uses your information to prepare a Free Savings Preview, generate your Deal Map, unlock the Full Deal Map if selected, prepare a PriceFox Action Plan if purchased, manage Pro Review if selected, process payment status, verify savings outcomes if applicable, and communicate with you about your request.
PriceFox may also use case information for customer support, access recovery, upload review, payment and refund administration, internal quality checks, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, and service planning.
During a controlled pilot, PriceFox may use real tester-submitted details, uploads, support requests, payment status, and feedback to provide the service and evaluate whether the pilot is working as intended.
We use your address, provider, plan, service, bundle, TV, and contact details to prepare your savings preview, check internet availability and comparable provider pricing for your address or area, generate your Deal Map, prepare your Action Plan if purchased, and manage your Pro Review if selected.
We may use provider websites, provider availability tools, automated tools, or manual review where needed to perform address-qualified pricing checks.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share uploaded bills or screenshots with internet providers to pitch plans. We do not place orders with providers or create provider accounts on your behalf.
Uploaded bills, screenshots, provider quotes, order confirmations, provider emails, and proof documents are used to confirm price, speed, promo terms, provider details, plan details, equipment, bundle details, and outcome details for the savings review, Action Plan, Pro Review, support, or savings verification.
These documents may include account, billing, plan, equipment, TV, bundle, address, promotional, or provider-message details that help PriceFox understand your current service and prepare a more useful review.
Uploaded bills and screenshots are stored in private, access-controlled PriceFox storage and are not made public. Access is limited to authorized PriceFox review/admin users and service providers used to operate PriceFox.
Please do not upload passwords, full payment card numbers, Social Insurance Numbers, unrelated identity documents, medical information, or documents that are unrelated to your internet, TV, provider quote, or PriceFox case.
Payment information is processed through Stripe or another secure payment provider. PriceFox does not store full card details directly.
PriceFox may store Full Deal Map payment status, Action Plan payment status, Pro Review deposit status, checkout identifiers, payment identifiers, refund status, success-fee status, and related case information needed to administer the service.
If a controlled pilot uses Stripe test mode, PriceFox may still store checkout and payment-status records needed to confirm that the pilot flow worked.
PriceFox may send service messages about your Savings Preview, Deal Map, Full Deal Map, Action Plan, Pro Review, uploads, proof, support requests, access recovery, payments, refunds, or security-related issues.
Transactional email may be handled by an email service provider. PriceFox may record email notification events, delivery status, template identifiers, and related operational metadata so support and admin review can understand what was sent or skipped.
Optional marketing or pricing updates are separate from service messages. Service messages related to your case may still be sent when needed to provide or support the service.
PriceFox uses service providers to host the website, database, file storage, payments, and operational tools. Information may be stored in those systems as needed to provide and support the service.
Some service providers may process or store information outside your province or outside Canada. PriceFox uses those providers to operate the website, storage, email, payments, support, security, and administrative systems.
Access is limited to people and systems that need it for the savings preview, Deal Map, Action Plan, Pro Review, payment administration, customer support, savings verification, or service operations.
PriceFox does not sell customer information.
PriceFox may share limited information only when needed to provide the service, process payments, send service emails, store uploads, manage support, support a customer-approved provider-related step, comply with legal obligations, or protect the service.
Examples may include Stripe or another payment processor, hosting and storage providers, an email provider, operational tools used to manage your case, or provider-related communication you approve or request.
If you ask PriceFox to help with a case, information may be used to prepare provider-specific guidance, compare offers, review provider terms, or support communication with providers or customer-selected parties as part of the case.
PriceFox does not become your internet provider, and provider account ownership, final acceptance of provider terms, activation, and cancellation remain between you and the provider unless clearly stated otherwise.
PriceFox keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, records, legal or accounting needs, payment administration, customer support, access recovery, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, security, or dispute handling.
PriceFox keeps uploaded documents only as long as reasonably needed for the review, billing, support, security, legal/accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements.
You can contact PriceFox to request deletion or correction of your information where applicable. Some records may need to be retained where required for payment, legal, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons.
You can choose not to buy the Full Deal Map, not to buy PriceFox Action Plan, not to start PriceFox Pro Review, not to upload optional documents during the preview, and not to receive optional marketing updates.
If you buy Action Plan, some information and supporting documents may be needed to prepare the written plan and process the one-time payment. If you start Pro Review, some information and supporting documents may be needed to manage guided support, administer the deposit, review proof, or follow up about your case.
Service messages related to your case may still be sent when needed to provide the service.
No online service can guarantee perfect security, but PriceFox uses access controls, private storage, and operational safeguards to protect customer information.
If you believe information you shared with PriceFox may be at risk, contact PriceFox so the issue can be reviewed.
Questions, deletion requests, or privacy concerns can be sent to PriceFox through the contact method provided on the site or by replying to a PriceFox service email.
