PriceFox terms
Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how the free savings preview, Full Deal Map, PriceFox Action Plan, PriceFox Pro Review, payments, refunds, verification, support, and customer responsibilities work.
Key points
Start free. Full Deal Map is $9, Action Plan is a $39 written plan, and Pro Review starts with a $20 deposit. PriceFox does not guarantee provider availability or exact savings, and success fees apply only after a completed and verified lower-price outcome.
These Terms are effective April 27, 2026. They apply to the PriceFox savings preview, Deal Map, Full Deal Map, PriceFox Action Plan, PriceFox Pro Review, review documents, payment status, support, success-fee verification, and related services.
PriceFox helps customers review home internet and internet + TV pricing, compare relevant offer options, and understand whether there may be a practical option for lowering or improving a bill.
PriceFox may provide a Free Savings Preview, Deal Map, Full Deal Map, PriceFox Action Plan, PriceFox Pro Review guidance, provider-specific next steps, support, and verification support if a completed lower-price outcome needs to be reviewed for fee finalization.
PriceFox is not your internet provider and does not sell, install, activate, cancel, or guarantee internet service.
PriceFox works for Canadians, not corporations. PriceFox does not get paid by providers to pitch plans, steer recommendations, or push customers toward a specific provider.
Provider terms, service quality, installation, cancellation, account ownership, account approval, billing, and availability remain between you and the provider.
A savings preview uses the information you provide plus available comparison data. It is an estimate, not a guaranteed offer, approval, installation, or final price.
Previewed savings can change if provider pricing, eligibility, service address, plan details, equipment, bundles, taxes, fees, or customer account status change.
The Deal Map is evidence and comparison support. It is not the final recommendation and it does not prove that every provider offer is available to you.
Final availability can depend on your address and provider eligibility. Provider offers, plan availability, installation, account approval, credit checks, cancellation rules, and service requirements can vary by customer and location.
When you use PriceFox, you authorize PriceFox to use the address, provider, plan, and service details you provide to check internet availability and comparable provider pricing for your address or area. These checks may be performed using provider websites, provider availability tools, automated tools, or manual review where needed.
PriceFox uses these checks to prepare your savings preview, generate your included Deal Map after your preview, and support Action Plan or Pro Review if selected.
PriceFox does not place orders with internet providers, create provider accounts on your behalf, or use your provider account login credentials. PriceFox does not share your uploaded bills or screenshots with internet providers to pitch plans.
The initial PriceFox savings preview is free. It helps you understand whether there may be a practical savings option before deciding whether to unlock the Full Deal Map, choose Action Plan, or start Pro Review.
The free preview is informational and does not require you to switch providers, accept an offer, buy Action Plan, or start Pro Review.
Full Deal Map is an optional $9 paid comparison for a specific case. It gives a fuller view of PriceFox-supported comparison evidence for that case.
Buying the Full Deal Map first creates one same-case $9 credit toward Action Plan or the Pro Review deposit. The credit is single-use and does not transfer to another case.
Action Plan and Pro Review include Full Deal Map access for that case, but Action Plan and Pro Review do not credit toward each other.
Standard PriceFox paid products are Full Deal Map for $9, Action Plan for $39, and Pro Review with a $20 deposit plus any success fee described below. Amounts are in Canadian dollars unless clearly stated otherwise.
Checkout is handled through Stripe or another secure payment provider. PriceFox does not store full payment card details directly.
During a controlled test-mode pilot, Stripe Checkout may be in test mode and no real charge is made. Pilot-specific instructions shown in the invite, modal, or checkout screen control the test process.
PriceFox can review internet-only, internet + TV, and app-based TV or bundle cases where PriceFox has enough information to compare them responsibly.
Bundle comparisons can depend on speed, TV package, sports needs, equipment, installation, contract terms, promo terms, delivery model, and provider availability. Some bundle cases need manual review or more information before PriceFox can make a useful comparison.
Check My Quote is a separate quote-review flow. It helps you understand a provider quote or offer, but it does not replace the Free Savings Preview and does not by itself create an Action Plan checkout.
PriceFox Action Plan is an optional $39 one-time written plan for a specific case. It is not provider-sponsored. PriceFox works for Canadians, not corporations.
The Action Plan may include a recommended option, backup option, estimated savings for each option, recommended contact option, what to ask, what to confirm, and what to do next.
A supporting bill, provider screenshot, order confirmation, or plan document may be required so PriceFox can personalize the Action Plan.
The Action Plan is based on information you provide and pricing information available to PriceFox at the time of review. It does not guarantee exact savings, exact eligibility, exact provider availability, or exact pricing.
The Action Plan is fixed-scope. It does not include ongoing guided support unless you upgrade to Pro Review, and it does not include the Pro Review success-fee flow unless upgraded.
Action Plan drafts are internal until PriceFox reviews and publishes customer-ready copy. Customer pages show only approved Action Plan copy.
PriceFox aims to deliver most Action Plans by the next business day after payment and supporting document upload, but cases needing extra address, provider, bundle, or eligibility review may take longer.
PriceFox Pro Review is optional. If your preview shows there may be a worthwhile savings opportunity, you can choose to start Pro Review for that case.
Pro Review checks whether there may be a stronger savings option for your address, plan fit, and timing, then helps you move through provider-specific next steps before switching, cancelling, or responding to a retention offer.
PriceFox may provide provider-specific guidance on what to ask and what to confirm, but provider-side activation, cancellation, account ownership, and final acceptance of provider terms remain your and the provider’s responsibility.
Pro Review can include document review, follow-up requests, proof upload, outcome review, and payment or refund administration for the same case.
Customers who bought an Action Plan may start Pro Review from the same case if they want guided help before switching, cancelling, or responding to a retention offer.
Action Plan is a separate written deliverable and does not reduce the Pro Review deposit or success fee.
A Pro Review success fee still applies only after a completed and verified lower-price outcome.
A $20 deposit starts PriceFox Pro Review for a specific case and covers the Pro Review work unless the refund condition below applies.
The $20 deposit is credited toward the success fee if a lower-price outcome is completed and verified.
The deposit is not the full success fee. The success fee, if any, is finalized only after a completed lower-price outcome is verified.
If PriceFox provides a meaningful savings option, useful plan-improvement option, or other meaningful recommendation and you choose not to act, choose a better plan that does not lower your bill, or decide to wait, the deposit may be retained as the review fee.
PriceFox Pro Review Guarantee: If Pro Review does not find a meaningful savings option or useful plan-improvement option PriceFox would recommend, your $20 deposit is refundable.
Refund requests are reviewed by PriceFox. A refund may require confirming the case, payment, review status, and what PriceFox was able to recommend.
The success fee is 30% of verified first-year savings, capped at $149, with the $20 deposit credited toward that amount.
A success fee applies only after a completed and verified lower-price outcome, meaning your monthly bill goes down and the lower-price outcome can be verified.
If you choose a higher-speed, better-content, or better-fit plan that costs the same or more than your current plan, no success fee applies because there are no verified dollar savings. The Pro Review deposit may still be retained for the review work already completed.
If no completed and verified lower-price outcome occurs, the success fee does not apply.
If you complete a lower-price outcome, PriceFox may ask for proof such as a bill, order confirmation, provider screenshot, activation email, or provider confirmation to verify savings and calculate any success fee.
Documents used before payment for review setup are review documents, not outcome proof.
You are responsible for providing accurate information, reviewing provider terms before accepting an offer, completing any provider account verification or approval steps, and deciding whether a provider offer is right for you.
You are also responsible for reviewing prices, speeds, promo periods, equipment, installation requirements, cancellation obligations, taxes, fees, and any contract or service terms before accepting a provider offer.
Do not upload passwords, full payment card numbers, Social Insurance Numbers, unrelated identity documents, medical information, or files that are unrelated to your internet, TV, provider quote, or PriceFox case.
Provider contracts, cancellation fees, equipment returns, installation appointments, service changes, and billing rules are controlled by the provider. You should review those details before switching, cancelling, responding to a retention offer, or accepting an offer.
Customer and provider remain responsible for activation and cancellation unless PriceFox clearly states otherwise in writing.
PriceFox may guide the customer through the next step, but provider-side activation, cancellation, account ownership, and final acceptance of provider terms remain the customer/provider’s responsibility.
PriceFox may guide your review, but it does not guarantee savings, provider approval, installation, cancellation, retention offers, final availability, service quality, or ongoing provider pricing.
Provider offers can change or become unavailable, and providers may decline, modify, or withdraw offers according to their own rules.
PriceFox support can help with access, payments, uploads, Action Plan, Pro Review, bugs, refunds, and questions about your result.
For saved pages, PriceFox uses privacy-aware matching before sending access details. Access details are sent only to the email associated with the matched case.
Support requests create PriceFox support records so PriceFox can triage, reply, and document what happened. PriceFox does not guarantee a specific response time unless it says so in writing.
PriceFox is designed to help you make a more informed internet-pricing decision. It cannot control provider systems, provider decisions, outages, installation issues, cancellation fees, billing disputes, account eligibility, lost savings, or indirect losses.
To the extent permitted by law, PriceFox is not responsible for provider-side problems or decisions, or for choices you make after reviewing a provider offer.
PriceFox may update these Terms as the service changes. The Terms shown when you use the service apply to your use at that time.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to PriceFox through the contact method provided on the site or by replying to a PriceFox service email.
