What information do I need to provide?

How is PriceFox different from a plan comparison site?

What is the PriceFox Action Plan?

The PriceFox Action Plan is a $39 one-time written plan. PriceFox checks beyond the first comparison and sends you the recommended option, backup option, estimated savings for each path, recommended contact path, what to ask, what to confirm, and what to do next. Most Action Plans are delivered by the next business day after payment and supporting document upload.
Does Action Plan include follow-up support?

Action Plan is a fixed-scope written plan with no success fee by itself. A bill, provider screenshot, or plan confirmation helps PriceFox personalize it and avoid giving you generic advice. If you want help deciding what to do next or moving through the process, you can upgrade to Pro Review.
Does Action Plan guarantee savings or availability?

No. Action Plan does not guarantee exact savings, exact eligibility, exact provider availability, or exact pricing. Final availability can depend on your address, provider eligibility, plan details, and provider confirmation.
How is Action Plan different from Pro Review?

What does Pro Review include?

Pro Review checks the stronger path, gives provider-specific guidance, and helps you move through next steps before switching, cancelling, or responding to a retention offer. Follow-up is usually by email within 1-2 business days.
Can I upgrade from Action Plan to Pro Review?

Yes. You can upgrade to Pro Review with no additional money upfront. Your $39 Action Plan payment is credited toward any Pro Review success fee if you complete and verify a lower-price outcome.
Is the $20 Pro Review deposit the full price?

No. The $20 deposit covers the Pro Review work and is credited toward any success fee if you complete a verified lower-price outcome. A success fee only applies when your monthly bill goes down. The success fee is 30% of verified first-year savings, capped at $149.
Is the $20 Pro Review deposit refundable?

The deposit is refundable if PriceFox cannot find a meaningful savings path or useful plan-improvement path we would recommend. If PriceFox provides a meaningful recommendation and you choose not to act, choose a better plan that does not lower your bill, or decide to wait, the deposit can be retained as the review fee.
When does the success fee apply?

The success fee only applies after a completed and verified lower-price outcome. It is 30% of verified first-year savings, capped at $149, and your deposit is credited toward it.
What counts as proof of savings?

If you complete a lower-price outcome, PriceFox may ask for proof such as a bill, order confirmation, provider screenshot, activation email, or provider confirmation to verify savings and calculate any success fee.
What happens if I choose a better plan that costs more?

If you choose a higher-speed, better-content, or better-fit plan that costs the same or more than your current plan, no success fee applies because there are no verified dollar savings. Your Pro Review deposit still covers the review work already completed.
Does PriceFox tell me who to call or where to start?

Yes. Your Action Plan can include a recommended contact path, such as phone, chat, website, branded retail, or partner retail. Offer access can vary by channel, timing, location, and representative, so PriceFox tells you what to ask and what to confirm before ordering.
Do I have to switch or cancel?

No. Action Plan or Pro Review may point to switching, cancelling, responding to a retention offer, waiting, or monitoring. You decide whether any provider offer is right for you. Provider-side activation, cancellation, account ownership, and acceptance of provider terms usually remain between you and the provider.
What if my provider makes a retention offer?

If your current provider offers a lower price after you start switching or cancelling, compare it against the PriceFox recommended path before accepting. Confirm the monthly price before tax, promo term, speed/package, fees, contract requirements, and whether the price starts immediately.
Is my uploaded bill stored securely?

Yes. Uploaded bills and screenshots are stored in private, access-controlled PriceFox storage — not in a public website folder.
Your document is used only to review your current price, speed, promo terms, provider details, and plan fit. Access is limited to authorized PriceFox team members involved in your review, and document links are not public.
PriceFox does not sell your information, and we do not share your uploaded bill with internet providers to pitch you plans. Once your review is complete, we only keep documents for as long as reasonably needed for the case, billing, support, or legal/accounting requirements.
Does PriceFox get paid by internet providers?

No. PriceFox works for Canadians, not corporations. We do not get paid by internet companies to sell or promote specific plans. PriceFox is customer-paid, which helps keep our recommendations focused on your bill, your options, and your savings path.
We do not sell your information or share uploaded bills with providers to pitch plans.
Does PriceFox use my address to check provider pricing?

Yes. PriceFox may use your address and plan details to check internet availability and comparable provider pricing from relevant providers for your address or area. This helps prepare your savings preview, included Deal Map, Action Plan if purchased, and Pro Review if selected.
PriceFox does not place orders, create provider accounts, use your provider login credentials, or share your uploaded bill with providers to pitch plans.
