Not sure which plan? Find the one that fits your home
Two questions from our speed guide. You’ll see the slowest Bell plan that covers your busiest time.

The same estimate as PriceFox’s internet speed guide: a planning figure, not a measurement. Suggesting a faster plan for the fullest households is PriceFox’s judgment. Plan names and speeds from Bell’s Ontario internet page, read October 8, 2026. Speeds are maximums and depend on your address and equipment.
What you get with every Bell Fibe plan
The five plans differ in speed. The rest is the same.
Unlimited data
Every plan on Bell’s page has unlimited monthly usage.
Giga Hub 2.0, with Wi-Fi 7
Bell’s modem is included with all five plans. There’s no paid upgrade to get Wi-Fi 7.
Upload as fast as download
On four of the five plans. Gigabit Fibe 1.5 uploads at up to 940 Mbps.
How Bell prices its internet plans
The advertised price is a term price. Bell takes a monthly credit off for 2 years, and lists the price without that credit beside each plan.
First: Autopay is assumed
Advertised prices include an Autopay credit. It needs pre-authorized debit, set up within 31 days of ordering.
Years 1 and 2: your price is guaranteed
Bell says prices are guaranteed for 2 years on a term. Leaving early costs a fee for each month left, up to a maximum.
After 2 years: the credit ends
You move to the price without the credit, unless you agree to a new offer.
No term? You pay more
Bell’s monthly credit is tied to the 2-year term. Without the term, you pay the higher price from the start.
If your address isn’t on pure fibre
Every plan above is pure fibre. Some Ontario addresses get Bell another way, with different speeds.
Check your address first
Bell shows the plans and speeds for your address once you enter it.
Fibre to the node is slower
Fibre runs to a street cabinet, then a copper phone line to your home: up to 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
Wireless Home Internet, for rural homes
A technician fits an antenna that connects to Bell’s wireless network: up to 50 Mbps download, with 600 GB a month at full speed, then slower at no extra charge.
How Bell compares with other Ontario internet providers
Providers differ most in the network at your address and the contract they ask for.
Compare Bell with
| Provider | Network | Contract | Related brands |
|---|---|---|---|
Bell | Pure fibre across much of Ontario, with some older copper | 2-year term or month to month | EBOX, Primus, Distributel |
| Fibre to the neighbourhood, finished over cable, across much of Ontario; fibre to the home in some areas | 24-month term or month to month | Comwave | |
| Cable in parts of Ontario, like Burlington, Oakville and Kingston | Some offers have a term | oxio | |
| Owned by Bell, sold under its own name | No contract | Part of Bell | |
| Owned by Cogeco, with its own brand and pricing | No contract | Part of Cogeco |

Bell vs Rogers internetCommon questions about Bell internet plans
What internet plans does Bell offer in Ontario?
Bell’s residential internet in Ontario comes in five Fibe plans on pure fibre: Fibe 150, Fibe 500, Gigabit Fibe 1.5, Gigabit Fibe 3.0 and Gigabit Fibe 8.0. All have unlimited data and include the Giga Hub 2.0 modem.
How much does Bell internet cost?
The plan cards at the top of this page show Bell’s current advertised price for each plan, on a 2-year term with Autopay, before tax. PriceFox keeps them in step with its pricing records. What you pay depends on your address and the offer you took.
Does Bell have internet promotions or deals?
Bell’s advertised prices are promotions: a monthly credit that lasts 2 years on a term. Bell Mobility customers can get a further monthly credit, and Bell sometimes adds a bonus for ordering online. The offers on its internet packages change often.
Does Bell internet have a contract?
The advertised prices are for a 2-year term, and leaving early costs a fee for each month left, up to a maximum. Only a term has that fee. Bell also sells its plans without a term, at a higher price. Our switching guide estimates the fee for you.
What happens to my Bell price after 2 years?
The monthly credit ends and you move to the price without it, unless you agree to a new offer. Bell lists that higher price beside each plan, which is why bills jump at that point.
Why did my Bell internet bill go up?
A Bell price increase on your bill is most often a 2-year term ending, when its monthly credit stops. Losing the Autopay or Mobility credit raises a bill too. A Free Savings Preview compares what you pay now with pricing found for your area.
Is Bell internet unlimited?
Yes. All five Fibe plans on Bell’s Ontario page have unlimited monthly usage.
What upload speed does Bell Fibe have?
On pure fibre, upload matches download on Fibe 150, Fibe 500, Gigabit Fibe 3.0 and Gigabit Fibe 8.0. Gigabit Fibe 1.5 uploads at up to 940 Mbps. Addresses on fibre to the node get up to 10 Mbps upload.
Does Bell charge for installation?
Bell says installation is free when you install the equipment yourself, or when self-install isn’t available at your address. A fee applies if you decline self-install where it’s offered.
How do I check Bell internet availability at my address?
Enter your address on Bell’s internet page. Bell then shows the plans and speeds it offers there, including whether you’re on pure fibre. Plans and speeds vary from one address to the next.
Does Bell have internet for rural homes?
Yes. Bell Wireless Home Internet uses an antenna on your home to reach Bell’s wireless network, with download speeds of up to 50 Mbps. Usage is unlimited, with 600 GB a month at full speed. A technician installs it.
Does Bell have a low-income internet plan?
Bell takes part in Connecting Families, a federal program with low-cost plans for eligible households. It is by invitation. Our low-cost internet guide explains who qualifies.
Do Bell internet plans include Wi-Fi?
Yes. The Giga Hub 2.0 modem with Wi-Fi 7 is included with all five plans on Bell’s Ontario page.
Does Bell sell the same plans in Quebec?
Bell sells Fibe internet in Quebec too, with different plans and prices. This guide covers Bell’s Ontario plans.
